Teaam Sponsorship

Direct Team sponsorship may cover all or part of a team's registration fee, travel costs, or accommodation. A pledge may be restricted to a team from a certain university, city, state or country, time-frame or even use. We encourage sponsors not to be too restrictive. Team stipend pledges play an important role in teams' decisions to participate, in particular for teams from universities and countries that are not well resourced.
The Ian Laird/Thomas Waelde Team Fund distributes donations to teams, in particular to those from less wealthy jurisdictions, in the form of accommodation or travel subsidies.

Prize Sponsorship

A prize sponsor may offer a cash prize (e.g. US $1000) for the winning team, for the best memorial or counter memorial, the highest ranked team, or best advocate. Regional incentives (e.g. "Highest Ranked Team from Asia") are also welcome, as are internship offers (with or without stipend) for one or more honorable mention oralists. Fellowship opportunities, course scholarships and tuition rebates and book prizes would also be welcome prizes.
Prize sponsors will be listed on the competition website (including logo display), print materials, and certificate of award.

Social Event Hosting

Social event sponsors assume the financial responsibility for a reception, coffee station, or dinners. KCAB staff can assist with venue arrangements, caterers and budgeting. Social event sponsor will be listed on the competition website and mentioned in preliminary and final print materials.
